1. How does the Infrawave® Oven work?

The Infrawave® Oven is based on a unique infrared technology that employs specific electromagnetic wavelengths of light. These wavelengths are profiled against your cooking choice which results in perfectly cooked food — fast!

2. Why does the interior light turn on and off?

The interior heater lights cycle on and off during the appliance’s routine operation to cook faster than conventional ovens and more evenly than microwaves.

3. How is the Infrawave® Oven different from a microwave oven?

A microwave oven uses microwave radiation to heat the water molecules in the food whereas the Infrawave® cooks with infrared light technology instead. The results obtained with the Infrawave® are closer to those that achieved with conventional baking either in a regular oven or a toaster than to foods microwaved.

4. Can I use the Infrawave® Oven to prepare any kind of food?

Any types of food that can be baked in a conventional oven can be prepared in an Infrawave® oven. Plus, the cooking times with the Infrawave® oven are considerably shorter than those with a toaster oven or a conventional. For best results, it’s important to remember to read and follow all directions carefully.

5. What are the cleaning procedures for the Infrawave® Oven?

The Crumb Tray, Broil/Baking Rack and  Bake Pan can all be washed in the dishwasher. To clean the glass door and the inside metal walls use a non-abrasive pad and sudsy water. Do not use a spray glass cleaner.
